Caption: A happy memory of Singapore: The photo that the Duke and Duchess have sent out to wellwishers

The Duchess of Cambridge has been so inundated with good wishes from members of the public that she and her husband, Prince William, have created a special card to thank them.

Reiss UK
In recent days the couple’s office at St James Palace has been sending out the elegant ‘thank you notes’ to members of the public who have written to them in the past few weeks.

Rather than the more traditional-style letter normally sent out by members of the Royal Family, this one is a postcard with a picture on the front of William and Kate taken on their official visit to Singapore last year.

Happy and Healthy Kate Visits her Charity "Action on Addiction"

Caption: The Duchess made no attempt to disguise her gently swelling stomach, standing with her hands clasped under her bump

The Duchess, who is almost halfway through her pregnancy, carried out her first official engagement of the year this morning when she visited Hope House, a 22-bed residential facility for women from all over the country to get over addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Caption: The Duchess beamed at well wishers who cheered as she arrived, as thousands have criticised Mantel's lecture about her

Action on Addiction is one of five charities of which the Duchess is patron, and she spent her time there speaking to women who are in recovery and congratulating those who are on the road back to sobriety.

Thousands of people came out in support of the Duchess of Cambridge after Hilary Mantel launched a scathing attack about her.

The double Booker Prize winner, whose latest books are set in the Tudor court, dismissed Kate as a ‘machine-made’ princess, ‘designed by committee’.

But where the author described her as 'plastic' and as a personality-free ‘shop window mannequin’ with a ‘plastic smile’, many have come out to say that the Duchess is a warm, intelligent woman.

Kate's Plan for Royal Baby !

The Duchess of Cambridge has always enjoyed a high level of fitness and according to those close to her, she is determined to keep this up.

Now in her second trimester, she has cut down on her more vigorous exercise routines such as tennis, hockey and skiing, and switched to a gentler regime. William and Kate's cocker spaniel Lupo would doubtless love all the extra-long walks with his mistress.

With motherhood just around the corner, Kate will also need to turn her mind to preparing nurseries in her homes and work out to whom she will turn once the baby is here.

With mum Carole – who has raised three children of her own – on hand and reports that mother of four Victoria Beckham has been offering Kate valuable advice, there's no doubt William's wife is in good hands.

Is it LEGAL to Print the Beach Photo's of Kate in Mustique on Holiday?

Australian magazine Woman’s Day and Italian Chi magazine have said they will publish photographs of the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge on holiday in the Caribbean angering the British royal family and reigniting a debate over privacy and freedom of the press.

Austin Reed Suits (US)Photographs show the 31-year-old Duchess wading into the sea in a blue bikini and strolling arm in arm with with her husband Prince William on a beach on the island of Mustique.

Chi magazine ran pictures last September of the princess sunbathing topless on holiday in France, raising questions about media intrusion into the lives of one of the world's most famous couples.

A St James's Palace spokesman said the decision was "a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy".

Prince William and Kate Enjoy "BabyMoon"

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been enjoying a ‘Babymoon’ — a last romantic getaway before the birth of their first child in July. They are staying in a £19,000-a-week villa — one of the most luxurious on the island.

And they are familiar faces on the island now, for this is their seventh trip to Mustique.

Anthropologie (UK)William and Kate first visited Mustique after a fortunate conversation at a society wedding in 2006 when he told a friend named Lotty Bunbury that he would love to go to the island, but that he ‘couldn’t possibly afford to’.

It so happened that Lotty is married to Mustique’s only doctor, Michael Bunbury. Thus, she arranged for William and Kate to be lent the beautiful Villa Hibiscus (in the end, they made a donation to charity in return), belonging to John and Belle Robinson, the owners of fashion chain Jigsaw.

Later, Kate worked as an accessories buyer for Jigsaw in the only job she has ever had that wasn’t under the umbrella of Party Pieces, her parents’ firm.

So Mustique, to a certain extent, forged her short career, just as it helped shape Pippa’s book.

The Queen's granddaughter is moving back to Gatcombe Park estate, which is owned by her mother, Princess Anne.

A team of six removal men were seen loading a lorry with mattresses, a white painted bookshelf, and dining room chairs.

The couple, who married in July 2011, bought the detached house, which is on a main road but set back in its own grounds, just before their wedding at Canongate Kirk on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.

But Miss Phillips, 31, never sold her home on the estate which already stables her horses and is where she trains both racehorses and her three-day eventers.
