Chris says Princess Charlotte appeared somewhat 'overwhelmed' by the balloons and clowns at the children's party in Victoria, but she soon calmed down after Kate gave her a rattle

The man responsible for capturing these unforgettable moments has revealed what it's really like being behind the scenes with the royal family - and the events of this year that he will never forget. 

Royal photographer Chris Jackson, who is engaged to the Duchess of Cambridge's stylist Natasha Archer, says that seeing a 'fascinated' Prince George playing with bubbles, and watching Kate try her hand at cricket, were highlights.

'I couldn’t resist this picture of the Duchess of Cambridge with little Princess Charlotte, again from the party for Military families in Canada,' says Chris.

'I think at times poor little Charlotte was overwhelmed by the balloons, clowns and multitude of young children running around.

'When she was given a rattle by Mum though and enjoyed a bit of a dance' I was finally able to get a bit of a smile and a lovely natural picture.'

Prince George and Princess Charlotte Steal the Show at Church Services on Christmas Day

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have stepped out with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte for a Christmas morning church service.

This comes as other members of the family gather for one of the highlights in the royal calendar - their annual church service at Sandringham.

In a break from tradition, William and Kate have this year chosen to spend the holidays with her parents, Michael and Carol Middleton, at their home in the village of Bucklebury, Berkshire, some 170 miles away from the Sandringham estate.

The pair and their children were joined by Kate's parents and brother James as well as her newly-engaged sister Pippa Middleton and James Matthews for the service at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire - where Pippa is set to marry next year.  Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.

Condolences to Zara and Mike Tindall as it is Announced Zara had a Miscarrage

The Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband have lost their unborn baby, just weeks after revealing they were expecting their second child.

A royal spokeswoman for the couple made the announcement today.

Equestrian champion Zara and her husband, former England rugby player Mike Tindall, 38, announced at the end of November they were expecting their second child.

Start of Queen's Christmas Holiday Delayed as She and Prince Philip Have Bad Colds

The 90-year-old monarch was due to take the train from London to King's Lynn this morning at the start of what was supposed to be her traditional Christmas break at Sandringham. 

But about half-an-hour before she was due to leave, officials suddenly told assembled photographers: "It's not happening now."

A palace spokesman said: "The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have heavy colds, and so have decided not to travel to Sandringham today."

Prince George is Opening Some of his Presents Before Christmas -- But What Will Santa Say When He Gets to Anmer Hall

The Duchess, on the other hand, looked full of Christmas cheer as she sported a £720 Christmassy-red and green patterned dress by a new choice of label, Vanessa Seward.

The royal trio arrived in North Kensington for a Christmas Party hosed by youth support service The Mix, to celebrate the volunteers and counsellors who support people through tough times in their lives.

The Mix gives young people aged 13 to 25 a helping hand to find their way through any challenge, from homelessness to finding a job, from money to mental health, from break-ups to drugs.

Later William, Kate and Harry joined a celebration Christmas Party reception where they mingled and chatted to a group of 'exceptional' volunteers who support people through tough times in their lives.

Prince Charles and the Queen Pose for 90th Birthday Picture

A RARE photograph of the Queen and Prince Charles has been released to mark the end of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday year, writes Camilla Tominey of EXPRESS.

Taken by fashion photographer Nick Knight, it shows the Monarch and the heir to the throne before the final night of the Royal Windsor Horse Pageant in May.
