Fashionista Pippa Middleton Enjoys Some Retail Therapy

Caption: Retail therapy: Pippa was spotted enjoying a spot of retail therapy at the Carolina Herrera boutique

The Duchess of Cambridge is famous for her thrifty approach to fashion and her love of a bargain from Zara but it seems sister Pippa has more exalted tastes.

The author and party planner, 30, was spotted enjoying some retail therapy at the Carolina Herrera boutique in Knightsbridge, where the cheapest item is a pair of £189 sunglasses.

Dresses can cost up to £3,194, while bags start at £450. Despite her expensive purchases, Ms Middleton chose a low-key look for her shopping trip and teamed a simple pair of skinny jeans with flat blue ballet pumps. Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.

REISS: In a season where separates reign supreme it's very easy to label a beautiful dress as a one trick pony - but you'd be wrong to do so. Not traditionally considered a versatile garment, dresses serve their purpose wonderfully, but rarely do we think outside of the box when it comes to styling them. As Kate and William’s royal tour to Australia draws near, interest in the minute details of their schedule, childcare plans, and of course Kate’s wardrobe is reaching fever pitch.

A worldwide fashion icon, the Duchess’s wardrobe will be under even more scrutiny than usual as she embarks on her second official royal tour, seen by millions as an ambassador for British fashion.

As well as no doubt remaining loyal to some of her long standing favourite designers such as, Temperley, the 32-year-old has apparently also commissioned Ralph & Russo to design some of her pieces for the trip.

The Queen Meets Pope Francis at the Vatican

The Queen and Prince Philip presenting the Pope with presents

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Rome on Thursday, where they met Pope Francis at the Vatican for a private audience which was much less formal than previous encounters between monarch and pontiffs.

EasterThe royal couple also met the head of the Catholic church in his papal study – close to the Casa Santa Marta hotel where he lives – rather than the lavish apostolic palace where his audience with Barack Obama took place last week.

The visit with Pope Francis will be her seventh meeting with a head of the Catholic church. Her first was with Pius XII in 1951 when she was still Princess Elizabeth.

Ten years later she had an audience with John XXIII and met his successor John Paul II three times – in 1980, 1982 and 2000. Click link for full post from Hello Magazine.

Prince William Joins the Queen and Prince Philip for Unveiling of Windsor Greys Statues

The Queen unveiled the Windsor Greys statue to mark her diamond jubilee [PA]

PRINCE William joined his grandparents for a rare joint royal engagement as the Queen unveiled a bronze statute of two of her horses today.

PHILIP TREACY HATS at LOVEHATS.COMThe Duke of Cambridge joked he had had his arm twisted to act as patron of a project in which the people of Windsor raised £200,000 to erect the statue to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

It was thought to be the first time since William attended the Braemar Games in 2005 with the Queen and Prince Philip that grandson and grandparents had undertaken a royal engagement as a trio.

Senior royal aides could not remember another occasion, apart from when the Queen and Philip visited his base at RAF Valley on April 1, 2011 – but he was hosting the visit as an airforce officer that day rather than on royal duties.
