The Duchess told a group of children receiving
art therapy from one of her charities the moniker of her cocker spaniel
during a visit to their primary school.
The
name is an Italian word meaning wolf and is also used as a surname in
other parts of the world. Lupo's father is reportedly a pet owned by
Kate's mother Carole Middleton.
The
puppy is just a few months old and is the son of a dog belonging to
Carole Middleton, the mother of the duchess. The couple have had the pet
since December.
