Queen's Corgis To Be Honored in Stain Glass Window

After featuring in the London Olympics opening ceremony, the Queen's corgis are to be depicted in a stained-glass window. They starred alongside James Bond in the Olympics opening ceremony.

Now, the royal corgis are going to have a lasting tribute. Mandrake can disclose that the Queen’s pet dogs will be represented in a huge stained-glass portrait of her that she will unveil in a church on Thursday.

The window is currently being installed at the Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy, which is the home of the Royal Victorian Order, whose members are recognised for distinguished personal service to the sovereign. Click link for full post from The Telegraph

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection.
