The royal couple will be on the road next week, with a back-to-back schedule that begins at Burton-Upon-Trent's St George's Park for the unveiling of a state-of-the-art football training ground and a meeting with England manager Roy Hodgson.
On Wednesday, they will arrive in Newcastle and Gateshead as part of their tour of the North East.
William and Kate will begin their itinerary at Newcastle's Civic Centre, where they will meet with youngsters from Percy Hedley School – an institution that teaches children with cerebral palsy.
