Charles Morris, who became friends with the Prince after meeting him at Sandringham, has designed a “garden room” for the nine-bedroom Anmer Hall, which will be gifted to the Duke and Duchess by the Queen.

Mr Morris, whose great-great-grandfather Sir John Kelk built the Royal Albert Hall, will also supervise the re-routing of the mansion’s main driveway to give the couple more privacy and the conversion of outbuildings for use by their security staff.
