With speculation at an all-time high as to who William and Kate Middleton have selected as godparents to their firstborn, the 31-year-old bar owner has refuted suggestions that he is in the running.

Older story, not true: Nightclub owner Guy Pelly has apparently been picked by Prince William and Kate Middleton as a godfather to Prince George.
According to a source told the paper he is "thrilled to bits" and "everyone was congratulating him". "Guy's been a very discreet and good friend to William over the years.
