Prince Charles To Invite 100 Guests to a Christmas Supper at Highgrove House

The Prince of Wales is to invite members of the public to a 'Christmas supper' at Highgrove House, his country retreat.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge broke with tradition last year by forgoing Christmas Day with the Queen and the rest of the Royal family at Sandringham.
Instead, they spent it in the more informal surroundings of Michael and Carole Middleton’s house in the Home Counties.
This festive season, the Prince of Wales is making sure that he will not be short of company, by inviting members of the public to his country home.
Prince Charles is to hold his first “Christmas supper” at Highgrove House, his property near Tetbury in Gloucestershire.
He has invited 100 paying guests to spend a “fabulous festive evening” in the Orchard Room at Highgrove on December 12.
For £55 per person, guests will be “welcomed with warming, organic, mulled wine” before they are served a “delicious, hearty two-course supper served with mince pies and coffee”.
