William and Kate Surprise Commuters at High Street Kensington Station

Prince William and Kate Middleton surprised commuters at a London tube station on Thursday morning with a special appearance in honour of London Poppy Day.

Excitement coursed through High Street Kensington station just before 11am as the royal couple arrived together, and they were soon surrounded by excited, and incredulous, members of the public.

The couple were in high spirits as they made their way over to speak to servicemen and servicewoman who were out selling poppies in the station.

New mum Kate was dressed in a suitably red-coloured coat by LK Bennett, while her husband chose a dark suit. Both were proudly wearing their poppies. Click link for full post from Hello Magazine.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary. The royal had a wide variety of different brooches which she often wore with her usual pearl earrings and necklace, including a spray of flowers brooch by the people and government of Australia during her Coronation tour of 1954./
