THE Queen has invited THIRTY members of her family to Sandringham to celebrate Prince George’s first Christmas.
As the biggest gathering of royals for decades descends on her Norfolk country retreat this week, some will have to sleep in cramped servants’ quarters.
Staff will have to either share bedrooms or move out to cottages on the estate and in nearby villages.
Her Majesty is said to be “delighted” that she will be surrounded by her entire immediate family on Christmas Day. However, the sheer volume of guests is causing a headache for staff.
Last year the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent December 25 with Kate’s family in Berkshire, while Prince Harry was on duty in Afghanistan. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
