THE Queen chatted about race horses but for Prince Philip there was another burning question for the specialist insurance market at Lloyd's of London today.
Nobody was quite sure what prompted the query but when the royal couple visited Lloyd's to mark the market's 325th anniversary, the Duke of Edinbugh seemed worried about a vermin problem at one of their residences.
"Is the Royal Collection insured against damage by mice?" he asked Paul Lawrence, chief underwriting officer with the global specialist insurance group Hiscox.
