Kate Looks Spectacular in Pretty White Cocktail Dress

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, is one of the world's most stylish women, and she lived up to all expectations with her appearance at the Governor-General's reception on Thursday evening.

Kate looked elegant in a white cocktail dress by Lela Rose.

The white circle lace trim dress, which retails at £869, features a graphic effect to the sleeves and peplum waist over a beautifully fitted sheath dress.

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary.
