THE Duchess of Cambridge wants to install a new set of fireplaces beneath the myriad chimneys at her new country seat as part of an estimated £1.5 million refurbishment.
Kate, 32, has revealed she is looking for several fireplaces for Anmer Hall, the 10-bedroom mansion on the Queen's 20,000-acre private Sandringham estate in Norfolk that has been given to her and Prince William.
The Duchess spoke about her home renovations to Theresa Edwards from Forteviot, Perthshire, when she visited the village fete on Thursday.
Theresa, who runs a firm called Strathearn Stone and Timber, said: "She said she's doing her house up and she's looking for fireplaces.Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
