Happy Birthday Prince William! Queen Gives Wills Helicopter (Leased) for His Birthday
WHEN your grandmother is the Queen, you're sure to always receive a pretty plush birthday present, and that's exactly what Prince William woke up to this morning.
The Duke of Cambridge, who turns 32 today, has been given an £8million helicopter from Her Majesty and probably cannot wait to take it for a spin.
The luxury Agusta A109S Grand was built in 2008 and has had no previous owners, but it is unsure if William will actually pilot the aircraft himself - despite being a qualified helicopter pilot with the RAF.
According to reports, the Queen has leased the Agusta A190S because it is thought to be safer to use one aircraft rather than several on short-term leases.
