THE Duchess of Cambridge got a cheeky kiss at a veterans’ tea party near a D-Day beach yesterday.
She and husband Prince William met members of the Normandy Veterans’ Association in the Gold Beach village of Arromanches before they took part in their last parade where many landed in 1944.
Arthur Jones, 88, was one of 50 veterans and widows invited to meet the Duke and Duchess in a marquee a couple of streets from the beach.
And when Kate, 32, sat down to talk to him, Arthur asked: “Is it OK to kiss a Princess?” She replied: “Of course it is.” Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
