Prince William delighted the team behind the 2014 Commonwealth Games by making a surprise appearance at the wrap party, held in Glasgow's Merchant Square.
The Duke of Cambridge
took to the stage in front of around 1,500 people to personally thank
staff for their hard work, saying that it was a "huge honour" to join
them to celebrate "the best ever Commonwealth Games in history".
Speaking of attending the Games with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, and his brother Prince Harry,
he said: "When Catherine, Harry and I visited last week we saw the
