Kate Misses Another Royal Engagement Due to Morning Sickness

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, sent her heartfelt apologies to one of her charities after she had to pull out of an engagement last-minute due to severe morning sickness.

The pregnant royal, who is still suffering from the effects of Hyperemesis Gravidarum as she did when expecting Prince George, was due to attend an event arranged by The Art Room. The charity uses art to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children.

As royal patron, Kate was scheduled to launch its ninth centre in the UK at the Barlby Primary School in west London. Her message of support was read out at the opening. Click link for full post from Hello Magazine.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary. The royal had a wide variety of different brooches which she often wore with her usual pearl earrings and necklace, including a spray of flowers brooch by the people and government of Australia during her Coronation tour of 1954./
