Kate appeared emotional today at the charity event
A TEARFUL Duchess of Cambridge hugged a bereaved mother today after hearing her emotional speech at the launch of a £10 million funding appeal for a new hospice.
Caring Kate, who is 18 weeks pregnant with her second child, welled up when Leigh Smith, her voice faltering, described cradling her daughter Beatrice as she died aged only 89 days in February this year.
The two women, who wrote to each other in March about Beatrice's death, embraced and both shed tears.
"You're a very brave lady and, again, I'm just so, so sorry," Kate said. Click link for full post from Express.
