Prince William and Kate (Looking Happy & Healthy) Visit Wales

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, made a joint appearance in Wales on Saturday 8 November. The royal couple, who used to live on the Welsh island of Anglesey, kicked off their "Wales away day" with a visit to the Valero Refinery in Pembroke.

The pregnant Duchess sported a light blue Matthew Williamson coat dress and tall black boots for the occasion and accessorised her look with a pair of glittering green amethyst earrings by Kiki McDonough. Although small, the Duchess' baby bump was visible as she waved to royal fans who lined the street outside the refinery. Click link for full post from Hello Magazine.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary. The royal had a wide variety of different brooches which she often wore with her usual pearl earrings and necklace, including a spray of flowers brooch by the people and government of Australia during her Coronation tour of 1954./
