SPECIALIST security officers are ready to deal with more than 200 "high risk" fanatics who could threaten the Duchess of Cambridge as she prepares to give birth next month, it has emerged.
A police team are said to be monitoring up to 220 stalkers, while officers and psychiatric nurses continue to make visits to "fixated persons" in order to carry out "welfare and medication checks."
The Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) - which is made up of nine detectives, three nurses and a community support officer - will also combine sources to identify potential fanatics online.
The team, which is led by a psychiatrist and a psychologist, will also work to investigate potential threats to other royal family members, including Kate's husband Prince William. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
