Prince Harry Has Show-Garden Display at Chelsea Garden Show: African-inspired Hope in Vulnerability Garden

THE bloodline may famously be blue but the fingers of the Windsor family are certainly green.

Despite jetting back from his tour of Australia and New Zealand just this weekend, Prince Harry was one of the first attendees when the gates were opened at the grounds of the Royal Hospital Gardens in SW3 this morning.

The prince was followed this afternoon by cousins Zara and Peter Phillips who braved the bad weather to attend the rain-soaked preview day of the show.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show officially opens and it is a long-held tradition that a member of the Royal family attends the day before the event begins every year. Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary. The royal had a wide variety of different brooches which she often wore with her usual pearl earrings and necklace, including a spray of flowers brooch by the people and government of Australia during her Coronation tour of 1954./
