Caption: Prince William is spotted aboard a Ryanair flight
PRINCE WILLIAM could easily fly first class or even in a royal private jet.
But instead the Duke of Cambridge, 33, opted to travel 'cattle class' on budget airline Ryanair during a recent trip to Glasgow - much to the surprise of his fellow passengers who weren't used to such esteemed company.
Wearing a navy blue jumper, pale shirt, trousers and glasses, a casually-dressed William could have almost been mistaken for any other passenger.
The future King, who was accompanied by just one bodyguard, was travelling to Scotland from his Norfolk home as part of his training programme with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
It comes after the prince was blasted for travelling 80 miles - from Highgrove, in Gloucestershire, to Windsor, in Berkshire, - in a helicopter at an estimated cost of £8,000 for taxpayers during a trip that would have only taken him an hour-and-a-half in a car.
