Princess Charlotte used the same pram as two of her great uncles 50 years ago
VINTAGE, up-cycled, preloved... call it what you will, the Royals are masters of the fashion for thrift in all its forms. And the Sunday christening of Prince William's infant daughter Princess Charlotte offered an elegant study in regal recycling.
The tiny princess was pushed to church in the same vintage navy blue Millson pram used by two of her great uncles 50 years ago.
A photograph of the Royal Family in the early Sixties shows a tiny Prince Andrew, now Duke of York, peeping out of the pram, while Prince Edward, now the Earl of Wessex, appeared in it in a photo taken on the Queen's 39th birthday in 1965.
Clearly it has been lovingly maintained, looking as pristine as the day it was first wheeled out in public. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
