Duchess Kate Visits Send Prison in Surrey for Women

Kate, 33, went to Send Prison in Surrey to view the work carried out by a trust that helps treat prisoners for their addiction and sets them on the road to recovery.

The Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust operates in 26 jails across the country but its programme at Send is the only 12-step prison-based drug and alcohol project for women.

During a visit lasting just under two hours, the Duchess met inmates and ex-prisoners who have benefited from the treatment and returned to a live a drug and crime-free life.Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
