PRINCE Harry was the star of the show at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup last night after taking a cameo role in a film about the invention of the game.
Harry, who is honorary president of England Rugby 2015, the organising committee staging the tournament at 13 venues across England and Wales, was joined at tonight's ceremony by his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
In a speech to the capacity crowd at Twickenham for last night's opening game between England and Fiji, Harry said: "Welcome to Twickenham, to England 2015 and to the 8th Rugby World Cup.
"This evening marks the beginning of a celebration of rugby which I hope will inspire current players, those new to the game and future generations.
