Prince Harry To Fly in a Historic Spitfire Flypast Despite Safety Concerns

BRAVE Prince Harry will still take to the skies in a historic Spitfire flypast next month despite safety fears following the Shoreham air crash.

Concerns had been raised over the 30-year-old royal’s involvement in the display to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain after a 1950s Hawker Hunter plane ploughed into the A27 last Saturday, killing 11.

The event is due to take place on September 15th at Goodwood Aerodrome, just down the Sussex coast from where the tragedy happened.

A full risk assessment has been carried out after the Civil Aviation Authority imposed a ban on vintage aircraft performing loops and rolls in the wake of the disaster. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
