William, Kate, George and Charlotte Jet to Scotland to Visit Queen on Historic Day
Caption: The Duchess of Cambridge traveled to Scotland in style
AS ANY parent knows, travelling with a toddler and a
baby
is not easy at the best of times.
But when you’ve been summoned to see the Queen, scheduled economy is not an option.
And so it was the
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
found themselves flying by private jet to
Scotland
last week, thanks to one of Britain’s richest men.
The Duke of Westminster Gerald Grosvenor kindly loaned the couple his £8million
Cessna
to make the journey from Sandringham to the
Highlands
with
Prince George
, two, and four-month-old
Princess Charlotte
.
It is the second time George has flown on the eight-seater jet, which would cost £12,000 a day to rent.
