Prince Harry Honors Veterans at St. James Palace
Caption: Prince Harry wants to help injured servicemen through sport
PRINCE Harry said tonight he wants to find "hard to reach" injured soldiers who need support and help them through the power of sport.
The Royal said he wants to continue using his Endeavour Fund, which has so far supported 950 servicemen and women on 21 challenges, to lend a helping hand to sick and wounded troops.
He called on former soldiers who were also inspired by sport during the recovery from their injuries to help other veterans in a speech at St James Palace.
The Prince said: "In this next phase of the Endeavour Fund, we will be asking those who have taken part in previous endeavours to take a leading role in future challenges as project managers but more significantly to act as peer mentors, forming a support network for those veterans who have not found the impulse to come forward.
