THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to visit Bhutan
and meet their glamorous counterparts in the mountain kingdom.William and Kate, who celebrates her 34th birthday today, will leave Prince George
and Princess Charlotte 
at home for the official tour.
The six-day Royal visit will also include several days in India
. Kensington Palace
revealed the Bhutan section of the tour yesterday, and also confirmed an official visit by Prince Harry to Nepal
.
Both visits, to take place in the spring, have been requested by the Government, which is keen to strengthen ties with countries in the region.
India, the most populous nation in the Commonwealth, is an increasingly important trading partner for the UK.
