Casual Kate Goes Shopping in London!!

For most busy mothers, dressing down means throwing on a baggy old sweatshirt and a pair of shapeless tracksuit bottoms.

But for the Duchess of Cambridge, it seems, dressing down means pushing up a few price tags.

And as if to prove her doubters wrong – she has been criticised lately for her conservative taste in clothes during Royal engagements – Kate nailed the casual look while out on a shopping trip in King’s Road, Chelsea, as our exclusive picture shows.

On top, she wore a £1,250 leather and suede gilet by designer Alice Temperley over a £395 black honeycomb rollneck jumper by the same designer.

But for the bottom half, Kate looked more park than Palace, with a pair of basic grey leggings revealing sculpted thighs – Kate’s a lady who lunges rather than lunches – and a pair of £75 Asics running trainers. Click link for full post from The Daily Mail.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary.
