THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are to host US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle to dinner on Friday.
Mr Obama and the First Lady will dine in the Cambridges' 22-room official residence, Apartment 1a at Kensington Palace, after joining the Queen and Prince Philip for lunch at Windsor Castle the day after the monarch's 90th birthday.
It will be the first time that William, 33, and Kate, 34, have hosted a major public engagement at their home, which was refurbished at a cost of £4..5 million to the taxpayer.
