Queen Attends The Royal Windsor Horse Show
Caption: The Queen organised the event to celebrate her love of horses
THE QUEEN broke into laughter today when she was presented with a Tesco gift card after her horse triumphed at a dressage show.
The thrifty 90-year-old may be able to feed her beloved corgis for a week with the haul, or even buy a trolley-load of traditional shortbread for her summer in Scotland.
Her Majesty beamed as she received the prize, which can be redeemed online or in any Tesco store by the 90-year-old monarch.
The Royal Windsor Horse Show was due to start yesterday but 10,000 guests, including the Queen, had to wait until today as the opening day was cancelled due to heavy rain.
A parade of 900 horses and 1,500 people is expected to take place later today as a nod to Her Majesty’s recent birthday.
The Queen is a patron of the event, which she founded to celebrate her love of horses. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
