PRINCE GEORGE may just be the best dressed three-year-old around - but royal watchers probably haven’t failed to notice that Kate always dresses the young royal in shorts.

And now the reason behind the adorable’s little shorts and knee high socks has been revealed - and it’s probably not what you expect.

According to an etiquette expert, there is a tradition among the upper class, aristocracy and royals to dress young boys in shorts.

And it’s because trousers are deemed “suburban” - something no self-respecting royal would want to be considered.
