Mr Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk, Harry, 33, had found “happiness” just weeks after Meghan Markle declared to Vanity Fair: “We’re a couple, we’re in love”.
He said: “All the signs have pointed that way for some time. “The Vanity Fair interview was unorthodox and unprecedented so I expect an engagement at any time. “It is so clear Meghan, actress, humanitarian activist and someone who has had to fight her way to the top, is ideal for him.”
However Mr Fitzwilliams warned Harry would find the “obsessive media interest” if they do marry “hard to bear", adding: “She is used to dealing with the media but this will be a challenge for them both”.
