Kate and William were supporting World Mental Health Day, a cause close to their hearts, by attending a Buckingham Palace reception yesterday evening.
The Duchess, who has been suffering from acute morning sickness since becoming pregnant again, looked stunning in a blue Temperley dress which barely showed any baby bump.
But when photos of her at the event were published on the official Kensington Palace Instagram account, some began questioning if she was really expecting at all.
One person wrote: "I can't believe she's prego, she looks too thin.”
Another complained: “She is further along then me in pregnancy and she looks stunning and I'm over here looking like a cow.
”But some people leapt to the royal’s defence, praising her for coping with hyperemesis gravidarum, an extreme type of morning sickness.
One wrote: “So happy to see that the Duchess was feeling well enough to attend!” Another said: "She is very strong for even getting out of bed, let alone hair and makeup done for this event. I've had HG for three pregnancies and know she's probably dying inside.”
