THE Duchess of Cambridge, who lists her occupation as “Princess of the United Kingdom”, has promised to visit more parts of Britain after undertaking only three royal engagements outside London this year.
Engagements have been arranged around making sure she is there for them, particularly before and after George, four, has been to nursery and now school.
Using the royal helicopter might have allowed her to travel further but aides have claimed it has not always been available for her - sometimes because other members of the Royal Family plan their engagements further in advance and get first dibs on the chopper.
Her health has also forced some plans to be cancelled.In September Kate, who is pregnant with her third child, got ill with the severe morning sickness hyperemesis gravidarum, forcing her to abandon trips with her husband Prince William to Liverpool, Milton Keynes, and Belfast.
A trip to Edinburgh had also been in the offing. But now she has recovered from the worst effects of HG, which can cause vomiting up to 60 times per day, her aides have drawn up plans for her to go out to the regions. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.
