Duchess Kate Sees Royal Ballet's Nutcracker After Queen's Lunch on Wednesday

It seems that the Duchess of Cambridge is as busy as any mother pre-Christmas.

Just hours after joining her family at the Queen's annual pre-Christmas lunch, Kate made a surprise appearance at the Royal Opera House.

The mother-of-two was spotted at the evening performance of the Royal Ballet's Nutcracker on Wednesday.

Queen of Jewelry

Brooches, usually worn on the left shoulder, were a favourite for the royal and the Queen was believed to have over 100 in her collection. A selection that would go with an outfit were presented to her - usually three at a time - by her senior dresser and confidante Angela Kelly on special trays that once belonged to Queen Mary.
