The image appears on the family's Christmas card She has her mother's dark hair and the same delightfully chubby cheeks as her brother Prince George.
But a new family portrait reveals two-year-old Princess Charlotte bears the most striking resemblance to her great-grandmother the Queen.
The photo, which appears on the Cambridges' Christmas card, shows Charlotte with the same bright smile as the monarch, 91, who is affectionately known as 'Gan-Gan' to her great-grandchildren.
The pair also look remarkably similar around the eyes.
The touching image, taken at Kensington Palace earlier this year, shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dressed in matching blue outfits with George, four, and Charlotte.
