Prince George Still Wants to be a Policeman


Prince George could have future in the police William hints but remains silent on Princess Charlotte PRINCE William met with winners of the Metropolitan Police Excellence Awards today and during the event, the devoted father revealed a rare insight into the career aspirations of the Royal Family’s youngsters.

Jayne Richardson, a youth engagement officer with the Met Police, joked to William that his children could one day join the cadets.

The Duke of Cambridge appeared to like the suggestion, as he replied four-year-old Prince George “does like the police”.

Although his two-year-old daughter Charlotte apparently might not be so keen on the career path, as William noticeably did not comment on whether the Princess likes the police.

After the event, Ms Richardson who works in the Kensington and Chelsea branch of the Met Police said: "We're only based just down the road in Kensington and I said to him 'Perhaps Prince George and Princess Charlotte could join the police cadets'.

"And he said 'Well he does like the police at the moment'."

Last year Prince George asked Santa for a police car for Christmas. Photos from William’s royal visit to Finland last November revealed George’s note written in big letters as the Duke handed the letter to Santa.  Read more from EXPRESS.
