Mr Case will become William’s most senior royal aide in July and will be responsible for the Prince’s work which among other things has become increasingly focused on undertaking a "charm offensive" with Kate on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as Brexit negotiations are underway.
Last year the William and Kate visited Sweden, Norway, Poland and France as a form of “soft diplomacy” following the triggering of Article 50 in March 2017.
