PIPPA Middleton has told her close friends and family that she is “pregnant” after her 12-week scan ahead of her sister’s birth of a third royal baby, it has been reported.

A friend of Pippa declared that the Duchess of Cambridge “could not have been more delighted” after being told that her younger sister was pregnant.

They added: “When Pippa found out she was pregnant, she was obviously thrilled and utterly overjoyed.

“Naturally, big sister Kate and parents, Carole and Michael, were the first people she told — James aside — and they could not have been more delighted.” They also told The Sun that the news “provided some much-needed happiness".

The friend went on: “It’s been a tough few weeks for the two families, so this has provided some much-needed happiness and light relief.”

It is understood that Kate Middleton was the second person to hear that her sister was pregnant. Pippa’s husband, James Matthews, was the first to find out about the news. The source detailed that the couple have “always known they wanted children”.  Read more from EXPRESS.
