Prince Philip has made his first public appearance since his operation
The Duke of Edinburgh attended the third day of the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Friday, more than a month after he went to the King Edward VII Hospital in central London to undergo a hip replacement operation.
During his visit he was spotted sitting in the car and speaking to Queen Elizabeth II, who leaned on the black car that drove the Prince to Windsor Castle, where the event is taking place.
After exchanging a few words with the Queen, the loving Prince, who appears to be wearing a white collared shirt, managed to make his wife smile.
The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a five-day event hosted in the private grounds of Windsor Castle and is said to be one of the Queen's favourite equestrian events of the year.
It sees competitors taking part in a range of events from show jumping to dressage. Read more from EXPRESS.
