PRINCESS Diana left her jewellery to her sons so that they could give her precious collection to their future wives - with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, inheriting some of the People’s Princess’s most iconic jewels.
Kate has been spotted more than once wearing her late mother-in-law’s jewellery.
The first piece belonging to Diana that she received was her engagement ring, according to the Good Housekeeping.
Kate has also been pictured wearing the Lover’s Knot Tiara, which was given to Diana by the Queen as a wedding present.
After her wedding with Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge also inherited a pair of Diana’s sapphire earrings.
Kate gave them a new life and updated the jewels to a drop style.
The Duchess has also wore a pearl bracelet, made by Nigel Milne in 1988 for Diana at a reception in Berlin. Read more from EXPRESS.
