The Duchess of York and Prince Philip are said to have avoided each other for years in the wake of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's divorce.
But it appears his granddaughter's upcoming wedding has seen Prince Philip have a change of heart.
A royal source says Philip, 97, will appear in the official family photos to mark the occassion on Friday October 12 at Windsor Castle.
