Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex’s eldest child, 14, was given the role of special attendant alongside her brother Viscount Severn, 10, yesterday.
They were asked to help guide Princess Charlotte, three, and her fellow bridesmaids, as well as Prince George, five, and his fellow page boy Louis de Givenchy, six into St George’s Chapel in Windsor, before bride Princess Eugenie arrived.
She walked in holding the hands of Prince George and Louis de Givenchy, who was also holding hands with Theodora, the daughter of pop star Robbie Williams and Ayda Field.
Louise came to the rescue when little Louis took a tumble on the steps of the church, and she bent down to scoop up the youngster.Princess Charlotte also slipped as she walked up the steps, when a particularly strong gust of wind hit the youngsters.
