The Duchess of Cambridge showed her arty streak on Tuesday when she was persuaded to add her mark to a life-size painting. Kate and her husband, Prince William, were at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London when they were introduced to Columbia-born contemporary artist Dario Vargas, who had been commissioned to paint piece inspired by the event.
He chatted to the couple before boldly asking if they would like to add their own special touch to the 6ft by 6ft artwork, entitled Someone to Turn To.
William immediately demurred and pushed Kate forward saying: ‘My wife, she’s the arty one!’ before Kate added a modest daub of white paint. Read more from The Daily Mail.
