THE Queen showed her dedication to Great Britain and its fallen war heroes when she went out on a horse ride on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Displaying how she is never off duty, the 92-year-old decorated her Fell pony with a trio of poppies on its bridle as the country prepares to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.
The Queen used to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph in London every year during Armistice Day, but last year Prince Charles took on the role in a sign she was reducing her duties.
She watched from a balcony alongside Prince Philip who looked frail and propped himself up using a wall.
But the Queen showed her solidarity with her nation as she took a ride out through the grounds of Windsor Castle this morning.
