THE DUCHESS of Cambridge revealed on Wednesday that Prince George and Princess Charlotte broke the Royal family’s Christmas protocol.
The Duchess, her husband Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis spent Christmas at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
On Wednesday morning, the Duchess stunned in festive red as she headed to church and confessed to a well-wisher that her children didn't stick to the family's traditions when it came to their Christmas presents.
According to former Royal chef Darren McGrady, the Royals are of German descent so they weave “in German traditions to their celebrations”.
Mr McGrady disclosed: “After afternoon tea, they open gifts on Christmas Eve, as is the German tradition.”
But Kate told a Royal fan, who was hoping to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte outside the church, that her children got up “very early” that day to open their presents, reportedly breaking protocol. Read more from EXPRESS.
