PRINCE Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, escaped injury after the car he was driving was involved in a crash this afternoon.
The 97-year-old was unharmed in the accident near the royal family's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
Witnesses said the Range Rover being driven by the Duke had overturned after pulling out from a driveway on the A149, according to the BBC.
He was helped out of the car and was reportedly conscious but "very, very shocked" and shaken.
Two people in the other car, a female driver and female passenger, received treatment in hospital for minor injuries, police said.
The pair have since been discharged. Pictures from the crash show the Duke's Range Rover on its side while another car appears to have crashed into a bush.
Prince Philip is back at Sandringham and has received the all-clear from a doctor after being examined as a precaution. Read more from EXPRESS.
